To meet the need for expert, timely, accurate, and quality local land surveying services, in March of 1993, Foster Survey Company was established.
Focused on servicing the land surveying needs of Foster and neighboring northwestern Rhode Island communities in those early days, we could only imagine then how Foster Survey Company would evolve into one of Rhode Island’s most experienced and trusted land surveying companies.

Colburn PLS, “but we were very impressed to learn that the very same advanced Trimble GPS equipment we use surveying in RI, accurately measured the height of Mount Everest for the very first time!”

Every year, Foster Survey Company invests in the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D software upgrades so that we have the most advanced surveying and Computer-aided design (CAD) software when working on your projects.
AutoCAD Civil 3D is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) solution for surveying, civil engineering design, and project documentation. Clients benefit from our AutoCAD Civil 3D software because it saves time, improves accuracy, and allows us to best serve their needs.
